THE POWER WALKER
OK... so here we go.. the RETRACTABLE LEASH. I find it so interesting just seeing other people's response to watching a dog at the end of a retractable leash just pulling away. After talking to many dog owners and trainers, it seems like people simply either love 'em or hate 'em. I will tell you more people love 'em!!
If you do not know what a retractable leash is, it is a leash which is adjustable that is attached to your dog's collar. As the name suggests, it is retractable in that the line can either be extended out, or retracted back in. There is actually only one button on this style of retractable leash. You can control the dog to either walk and extend the leash, or stop the leash from extending out. That same button the person uses to extend the leash can also be used for retracting it as well.
COASTAL PET PRODUCTS makes their own brand of these retractable leads called the Power Walker®.
