SAFARI SELF CLEANING SLICKER PET CARE
I have not had the chance to use a slicker type brush for years because many of the dogs I have had recently have had such sort hair. But for example, when I worked on EMPTY NEST and trained the "Bear", who played the part of "Dreyfuss", I needed something that would help with a dog that had a lot of hair. The slicker worked great for that. The only problem I had was to constantly be having to physically pull the hair from the slicker. Occasionally, the wire bristles would poke my hand as I did that. I don't know if any of you have had the same problem.
Now SAFARI has come out with the SAFARI SELF CLEANING SLICKER. With the touch of a button, the pins retract, hair falls away and the pad can be wiped clean. All you need to do is reposition the button and you're ready to go again. What I like about this is it comes with a very comfortable grip handle and stainless steel pins provide excellent grooming results with minimal effort.
